Discover Portuguese artwork by Portuguese artists and residents

From Porto to Lisbon, discover Portuguese art through a week long pop-up shop to open in Anjos, Lisbon this June.

Lisbon Art Collective is an initiative by artist Emma Make to bring the Portuguese art and illustration scene to a wider audience. This June between 9th to the 14th 17 artists will participate in a pop-up shop on Rua Maria 66A in Anjos, Lisbon. The shop will include ceramics, original screen prints, risograph and textiles by artists from Porto and Lisbon.

The initiative was set up originally to affordably share the cost of taking artwork abroad. Since Emma is from Cambridge, England, the team would only share the cost of the table and flight whilst 100% of the profits went to the respective artists.

This June the concept continues as artists pay simply for the shop space and earn what they sell. This week you’ll also be able to meet them as they volunteer at the shop.

On the 14th LAC will also be hosting a small party in the afternoon to celebrate the closing of the shop.

The shop will be open 11-19h everyday Mon-Saturday.
