Jubin Nautiyal Feels New Artists Lack ‘Commitment Towards Craft’: Famous Jaldi Hona Hai | EXCLUSIVE
Jubin Nautiyal’s message to new artists
He candidly shared with Zoom TV host Aditya Shrivastava, “Ek cheez miss out ho rahi hai naye artists me, wo hai commitment towards the craft. Famous jaldi hona hai, but famous hone ke baad actual journey start hoti hai.”
(One thing that new artists are missing is commitment towards the craft. They want to become famous quickly, but the actual journey begins after becoming famous.)
Jubin further elaborated on the deeper responsibility that comes with recognition by saying, “Famous hone tak to ye hota hai ki sab kuchh naya hai, you want to do everything. But jab aap famous ho jaate hain, aapko log janne lagte hain, to samajh aata hai ki aapki ek say hai. Aap kuchh keh rahe ho log sunn rahe hain.”
(Until you become famous, everything feels new and exciting. But once you’re known, you realize that people listen to what you say, and you have a voice.)
Jubin feels true journey begins after reaching destination
Jubin stressed that fame is just the beginning, “Responsibility to apne pe aati hai, that is something which will only cut through if you are very good with your craft. Agar aap manjhe hue artist ho, aap music producer ho sakte ho, writer ho sakte ho.” He further bin said, “So, the true journey begins after you reach your destination, that you feel is your destination. Iske baad to aapka loha maana jayega ki aap artist kitne manjhe hue ho.”
(The responsibility falls on you, and that can only be met if you’re truly skilled. If you’re a seasoned artist, you can be a producer or a writer. The real journey starts after you reach what you believe is your destination. Only then will your true skill as an artist be recognised.)
He added that while today’s artists are eager to be stars, “they still need to work on the journey after becoming a star. And for that a lot of hard work is required.”
