Both groups have seen a rise in membership since Covid, as more people have discovered the joys of creating art.
Helen Southwell, chair of Plain Arts, said: “We now know just how important it can be for our personal wellbeing.”
Martin Webster from Salisbury Group of Artists added: “It would be great if our work inspires visitors to consider if it is something they too might enjoy.”
The exhibition will open with a special viewing on Friday, April 4 from 6pm to 7pm.
Annie George, who is curating the exhibition, said: “This is a chance to meet some of the artists who have contributed work – and to be amongst the first to see the new exhibition and perhaps snap up a picture or other form of artwork before anyone else.”
Entry is free and fully accessible during library opening hours.
