The diplomats also stopped by the Ningxia Art Museum, where they admired classical Chinese calligraphy and landscape paintings. During a hands-on calligraphy session, they tried their hand at writing Chinese characters with brush and ink, experiencing firsthand the elegance of this traditional art form.
Since its inception in 2021, the “Discover China Cultural Tour” has brought more than 400 diplomats from 103 countries to 16 provinces and regions across China. The program offers an up-close appreciation of local customs, cultural heritage, and the contemporary development of China, fostering cross-cultural dialogue and friendship.
