Heritage Days in Lake Cowichan offered a variety of fun community activities from May 16 to 18.
Friday featured a railway and logging historical display at the Kaatza Station Museum that was open all weekend. The Kaatza Art Group Art Show filled Centennial Hall for three days, and Youbou Lanes hosted family bowling and a photo display.
Saturday saw the fun kick off with a logging truck parade, followed by the museum’s always popular used book sale, also ran Sunday. Best dressed pets and a pet parade, along with a kids Best Decorated Bike competition and bike parade took to the streets on Saturday afternoon.
Sunday saw a community family picnic take over the Bell Tower School.
