The BBC Introducing Stage will showcase some of the UK’s most exciting upcoming artists, with a particular focus on the thriving music scene in Glasgow.
TRNSMT has unveiled the BBC Introducing Stage (formerly known as River Stage), set to spotlight 20 of the country’s most promising up-and-coming artists.
The Scottish music festival, presented by Rockstar Energy and held in Glasgow Green, promises to bring a stellar line-up across weekend July 11, 12 and 13.
As part of Glasgow’s 850th anniversary festivities, the BBC Introducing Stage will shine a light on the city’s vibrant music scene, featuring local Glasgow rising talents.
Elsewhere, headlining acts include 50 Cent, Snow Patrol, and Biffy Clyro. The Script, Tom Walker, Nathan Evans, and The View’s Kyle Falconer have also joined the set list across the jam-packed weekend.

Friday
Glasgow’s own rapper BEMZ is slated to headline on Friday, following his sold-out gig at Barrowland Ballroom earlier this year. UK hip-hop duo Frankie Stew & Harvey Gunn, famed for viral hits ‘Put It On Me’ and ‘Dream Factory’, are also set to perform.
The lineup will further showcase emerging talent across indie, rock, and electronic genres, with performances from Cliffords, Redolent, Indoor Foxes, and Fourth Daughter.
Rising R&B and soul sensation Becky Sikasa, winner of BBC Introducing Scottish Act of the Year, will kick off the stage with her internationally acclaimed sound.
Saturday
One of Glasgow’s most buzzed-about bands, VLURE, will take centre stage on Saturday, hot on the heels of their sell-out show at Queen Margaret Union.
Fans can also anticipate a standout performance from indie-pop singer-songwriter Chloe Slater, alongside high-energy indie-rock from Guest List and Welly.
Adding to the thrill, The Rooks – fresh from headline sets at King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut – will grace the stage, along with Fright Years and Alex Spencer, ensuring an unforgettable Saturday lineup.
Sunday
The BBC Introducing Stage will draw to a thrilling conclusion on Sunday, with Matilda Mann bringing her captivating indie-folk presence that has garnered rave reviews.
Aaron Rowe is set to treat the audience to his unique fusion of R&B and indie sounds, while Nell Mescal’s poignant indie-pop anthems are sure to resonate deeply.
Also gracing the stage will be Glasgow’s very own KuleeAngee, who will infuse the atmosphere with a dynamic mix of guitar-driven melodies interwoven with the vibrant pulse of acid house.
The energetic performances of Ben Ellis and Dictator promise to ignite the stage with their dynamic fusion of rock and electronic elements.
Commenting on the exciting additions to the lineup, Festival Director Geoff Ellis shared: “TRNSMT’s bumper lineup just got even bigger with 20 incredible up-and-coming artists added to the bill. We take great pride in providing a platform for the next generation of talent, and it’s always rewarding to see artists start on this stage before going on to great things throughout their career.
“Many of these acts have a strong connection to Glasgow, whether they were born and raised here or have played the city’s iconic venues on their journey to success. It’s an honour to celebrate their talent as part of Glasgow’s 850th anniversary and welcome them to Scotland’s biggest music festival.”
