second Annual Reflections Exhibit and Concert Celebrate…

Lloyd Williams, who organized the exhibit, spoke about its purpose and impact, while attendees enjoyed live music from The Phonics, a local band known for soulful covers and original songs.

Among those attending was Dr. Loretta Prater of Cape Girardeau, who said she has a deep appreciation for art. “My oldest son was an artist, so I fell in love with art because of his work,” Prater said. “When I heard this was going on, I wanted to go out and see the paintings. I wish that more people had come out. Art speaks to everyone in different ways; for each of us, it could be inspirational.”

The evening combined creative expression with community connection, drawing a crowd eager to honor the holiday through culture and education.
