DROITWICH Arts Network is offering artists an opportunity to display their work for sale for this year’s Bargain Corner in the run up to Christmas.
The community organisation’s Bargain Corner returns again for 2024, giving artists a chance to showcase their work for sale.
The network says artists’ work deserves to be displayed and encourages artists to dig out artwork stored away in spare rooms, sheds, lofts, garages or conservatories to give the pieces the limelight they deserve.
Pictures for the Christmas 2024 Bargains will be placed on the floor, leaning against the long wall initially. There is no display fee.
Spaces are limited for the exhibition. Artists can exhibit no more than two pieces, with the maximum sale price per piece set at £25. Works must display the artists name, the pieces title and its price.
Artwork sold together or separately must be priced accordingly. For example, £25 each, £40 for both. Pieces can be delivered to the Hub during opening hours from Friday, October 25. Artwork will be displayed from Monday, November 4.
Items can be left on display until mid January 2025. More space will be available for new displays from November 18, when the network may invite additional exhibitors. Droitwich Arts Network retains 10% commission on sales.
The Hub is open on Mondays and Fridays from 10am to 4pm, and on Saturdays from 10am to 3.30pm.
