Responding to the vandalism in a post on Facebook, the duo said: “We’re still going to turn up. We’re still going to perform. We’re still going to bring joy. And we’re still going to be absolutely Dragulous.”
Studio 24 in Wells, the venue hosting the pair’s gig, added on social media: “This is really upsetting to see. This show is hosted by a private promoter who has been working tirelessly to bring a truly fantastic show to Wells.
“If anyone knows any information on the people responsible for this please get in touch, we are happy to offer a reward.”
George told BBC Radio Somerset: “We will carry on with the show as always but it is a bit worrying.”
However, he added that the majority of the responses had been supportive.
The performer confirmed police were investigating the incident.
