Mayo County Council’s Youth Arts Programme, called EXCEL, provides lots of opportunity for young people in Mayo to explore their creativity, gain new skills in various art forms and encounter practicing artists.

This year’s programme has exciting workshops such as a Youth Theatre masterclass and workshops; Tin Maker – a series of workshops celebrating Traveller culture and heritage, a post primary presentation by James Winnett on his recent public art commission ‘The Touchstones’; animation and musical workshops plus details of our upcoming Creative Careers Event – Designing your Future in Belmullet.

The programme offers challenging opportunities and fun in equal measures.
