AC Gallery in Victoria Court, off High Street, says it is proud to exhibit works of the Pennine landscape artist who died in 2009.

“The exhibition offers collectors and art enthusiasts a rare opportunity to view and acquire a selection of Brook’s work, including original paintings, signed prints, and estate-approved reproductions. Known for his distinctive style, Brook’s work continues to captivate audiences with its atmospheric charm and unmistakable character,” says a spokesperson for the gallery.

“Peter Brook was a highly regarded member of the Royal Society of British Artists and is best known for his nostalgic depictions of Northern landscapes and snow scenes. Born in Scholes, West Yorkshire, Brook had an extraordinary ability to capture the spirit of the landscapes around him and earned the title ‘The Pennine Landscape Painter’.

Over the course of his career, Brook gained a loyal following, with his work exhibited widely across the UK and collected internationally. His legacy remains strong, with his paintings continuing to resonate with both seasoned collectors and those discovering his work for the first time. Works by Peter Brook are held by the Tate Gallery and have featured in the galleries popular desk diaries.

Visitors are warmly invited to visit the exhibition at AC Gallery, 2 Victoria Court. It runs until April 11.
