A Suffolk art trail is set to celebrate its 21st year.
The Harleston and Waveney Art Trail (HWAT) will return to the Waveney Valley in May, with 25 artists opening their studio doors to visitors.
The artists will open their doors for five days across the weekends of May 18 and 19, and May 25 to 27, including the late bank holiday Monday.
The event is free to attend and will give visitors a chance to see how and where the artists work.
The artists work in a range of mediums, including contemporary and traditional paintings, clay sculpture, book art, wire sculpture, batik, mixed media, drawings, collage, and textiles.
Attendees will get to visit artists’ studios. (Image: Harleston & Waveney Art Trail) The organisers of the art trail said: “This year, we are celebrating our 21st birthday, our coming-of-age year.
“We are pleased and proud that the art trail continues to go from strength to strength.
“During the two weekends, there is a great opportunity to see the wonderful work of this extremely diverse group of artists.
“We are sure that you will find that two weekends is just not long enough to see our studio spaces and to hear about our practices.
“Each artist has a wealth of experiences to impart, and we hope that you will leave feeling artistically nourished and maybe with a little something, if only a card or print, tucked under your arm as a special purchase.”

Brochures featuring all participating artists and their studio locations will be available from mid-April.
They can be picked up from various places across the region or found on the HWAT website.
Studios will be open from 10am to 5pm on both weekends.
