SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) – Celebrate Gullah-Geechee culture and the history of the Georgia coast at Art and Oysters, a Coastal Heritage Society fundraiser at the Pin Point Heritage Museum on Thursday, March 26.
The event brings together some of the region’s most talented artists and highlights the historical culture of the Gullah-Geechee community of coastal Georgia. It features a silent auction to showcase the original artwork of featured artists’ own stories of life on the coast and the deep-rooted traditions of the Lowcountry.
Proceeds from the event will help the Coastal Heritage Society provide educational experiences for the public through the preservation and presentation of the historic resources of coastal Georgia and adjacent regions.
