SURREY Mayor Brenda Locke at the Daya Karho: Displays of Compassion (Art Show) presented by Sikh Heritage B.C. on Sunday, April 12 at Surrey City Hall. The art show was a live and interactive art exhibit surrounding Daya. This exhibit was an immersive experience exploring one’s relationship with Daya, and how to be compassionate in an increasingly acrimonious world. The artists showcased work centered around their understanding of Daya. The artwork was intended to help the audience contemplate the importance of Daya in their lives.
