The Arts Council will open applications for the Traditional Arts Bursary Award 2026 – Round 2 on Tuesday 19 May 2026. The award supports professional traditional arts artists and arts practitioners to develop their practice through time for research, reflection, skills development, mentorship, collaboration or the development of new work.
Applicants may apply for between €5,000 and €20,000. Applicants cannot apply if they applied for Bursary Round 1 2026 or the Agility Award 2026.
Applications close at 5.30pm on Thursday 18 June 2026 and must be submitted through the Arts Council Online Services portal.
