Heritage Open Days 2025: 70 incredible places to visit across the Black Country, Staffordshire and Wyre Forest during the annual celebration of history and culture


It’s an annual event which helps to showcase the buildings, parks, halls and other venues which embody the history and culture of the United Kingdom.

Heritage Open Days provides an opportunity for people to see hidden places, explore buildings and venues they may have seen, but never been to and try new experiences for free, all prepared and organised by volunteers.

Running from September 12 to September 21, more than 70 places across the Black Country, Staffordshire and Wyre Forest are putting on events and experiences for people to enjoy.

We’ve compiled a list from the Heritage Open Days website to help people find out what is happening near them and when it is happening:
