Paradise Mobile is hosting a Heritage Month Art Showcase, which they describe as an “inspiring celebration of Bermudian talent and creativity.”
A spokesperson said, “Running throughout May, this exhibit will turn the Paradise Mobile retail space at 24 Reid Street into a vibrant gallery featuring works by local artists across a range of mediums.
“The exhibition will launch with an opening night event on Thursday, 1 May, from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm. Attendees will enjoy an evening of live music, light bites and the opportunity to meet the featured artists. All are welcome to this free event, which promises to be a highlight of this year’s Heritage Month celebrations.
“Some of the local artists featured include Natalie K. Sannemalm, Shanna Hollis, Meredith Andrews, Chyna Talbot, Jordan Carey, Martin Hatfield, Kimbeley Fisher, Ishrat Yakub and more, each bringing their unique artistic vision to the gallery.
“Guests will have the opportunity to view and purchase all exhibited artwork throughout the month of May, with 100% of proceeds going directly to the artists.”

Claire Peverelli, one of the organisers of the showcase, commented, “We are so excited and grateful that Paradise Mobile has given us the space to showcase some of Bermuda’s incredible artists. This exhibition is really a celebration of all the variety of creative practices that exist on this little island.
“The showcase will feature drawings, paintings, photography, sculpture, textiles, collages and even jewelry. A massive thank you to the team at Paradise for their collaboration in this exciting celebration of Bermuda’s creativity for heritage month. We look forward to opening night.”
The spokesperson said, “The gallery will be open throughout May during Paradise Mobile’s regular operating hours [10 am – 6 pm, Monday to Friday, and 11 am – 4 pm on Saturdays]. Paradise Mobile invites both residents and visitors to explore the exhibition and immerse themselves in the artistry of Bermuda.”
